An excursion to Nuremberg, capital of Franconia with a very eventful history:
- a mighty center of european trade and commerce during the Middle Ages,
- the focus scene of the "Third Reich" and
- nowadays a vivid city.

But Nuremberg is also the birth place of one of Germany's greatest artists: Albrecht Dürer and it also hosts the famous Christkindl's Market in winter.

The Germanic Museum, the  castle and the beautiful old town center pay a day visit.
