Let’s start for a scenic ride through the Taunus lower mountain range. Visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the LIMES and the Roman fort Saalburg, the frontier between the ancient Roman Empire and the Germanic tribes, the „barbarians“. (The Europeam Limes with a total length of 500 Kilometers ist he second argest building construction right after the Chinese Wall)
Walk with your guide through the halls and rooms of this fascinating fortress and stroll along the ramparts and watchtowers. Plunge into the every day life of Roman soldiers, their families, merchants and craftsmen, nearly two thousand years ago. Enjoy history displayed in a very entertaining and lively way.

The medieval castle Ronneburg from the 13th century. Perfectly preserved, this mighty castle displays the living conditions of their inhabitants in the Middle Ages.
The Ronneburg is an „open museum“. You are allowed to explore the entire castle also on your own: the drawbridge, the gates, the towers and the armory, all the rooms and halls, the kitchen and the well
house – all visitors have unlimited access to the sunken world of the medieval knights and lords of such castles.
