Munich & Nuremberg
A day trip to two famous cities in "Bavaria" : First an excursion to Munich, the splendid capital of the state. Sightseeing trip of the city: the Cathedral Church of our Lady, the world’s largest beer hall: the famous Hofbräuhaus.
Viktualien Market, the Town Hall with the Carillon, the English Garden and the Olympic Park, Nymphenburg Castle, Deutsches Museum, and the Old Pinakothek and much more.
You will have time for an individal stroll, shopping or indoor visit due to your own interest.
A lunch package is included, but you may taste the Bavarian beer and sausages as well.
Later we drive to Nuremberg, de capital of Franconia with a very eventful history:
- a mighty center of european trade and commerce during the Middle Ages,
- the focus scene of the "Third Reich" and
- nowadays a vivid city.
But Nuremberg is also the birth place of one of Germany's greatest artists: Albrecht Dürer and it also hosts the famous Christkindl's Market in winter.
Do not forget to taste the famous Nuremberg fried sausages (see image).
Approx. 10:00pm we will be back in Frankfurt.
